Feeling lonely or isolated, or just fancy making some new friends?

Our Together clubs could be just what you are looking for. Specifically for the over 60’s, both clubs meet between 10 am and 3 pm.   Together@ARNOLD  meets every Monday and Together@CLIFTON every Wednesday.

The club provides members with fun, food and opportunities to make friends and try new things.  The days’ activities are many and varied from quizzes, members sharing their stories, visiting speakers and entertainers, or our recent cupcake decorating competition, judged by our very own “Mary Berry.”  Twice a month there is the opportunity to participate in armchair exercises before lunch.  One of the highlights of the day is a two-course home-made lunch.

Trips and entertainment are also part of the life of the clubs.  There have been river cruises, shopping trips,  visits to Chatsworth House, the zoo, Matlock Bath, garden centres and East Midlands Designer Outlet plus a mystery tour of Derbyshire, a Christmas shopping expedition and  afternoons at the Nottingham Playhouse and Theatre Royal to see the Pantomime and ‘Top Hat’ respectively.

We meet at:

  • Together@CLIFTON
Hope Centre, Southchurch Drive, Clifton, NG11 8AR
  • Together@ARNOLD
Eagles Nest Community Centre, Gedling Rd, Arnold, NG5 6NZ
